We Celebrate Life!
Celebration of Life Foundation (COL) is a non profit 501(c)3, formed in 2004 by members of the Inspirational hip-hop group, Sonz of the Most High (S.O.M), Darrell Murray, and Paris Simon, who were innocent victims in a shooting that occurred on May 31, 2003. Their miraculous survival motivated them to give back to the community through the COL Foundation, an Outreach program encouraging community resident to “Stop the Violence” and become involved in addressing the violence in the streets to create a relatively peaceful environment to live and work. COL also partners with other organizations to help promote and provide opportunities such as; HIV and health awareness, voters registration, and the importance of academic excellence. Since 2004, COL hosted the following annual events, Stop the Violence Week which has grown from a back yard bar-b-que to a week long event, Back to School Drive, Holiday Toy and Clothing Drive, and Feed the Homeless.

Is to communicate and establish the value of human life to our most at risk and vulnerable urban youth.

We take a strong stance against bullying
Nonviolence is the only way to resolve any situation
Every child should have a right to quality education
Children should have a strong family structure

What We Need & What You Get
To help assure the continued success, professionalism, and excitement generated by this annual event, we need your support to help us raise funds and reach others in the community. We are inviting all Business owners, Pastors, Youth Pastors, Leaders and Kingdom Builders to come out and “Celebrate Life” with us at every event. All activities are free for the week. Just come out and experience the move of God. We have heard “Great Testimonies” in how the Celebration of Life Experience has changed many lives.
